HALWYN was born from a deep love of Crantock, our community, and the joy of bringing people together.
About usSet on our family farm in Crantock, around three miles from Newquay, HALWYN is a place to eat, play and spend time together.
There’s a 15-bay TrackMan driving range, a 12-hole mini golf course and a restaurant serving smokey dishes from the Josper grill. Some people come for a round of golf and stay for dinner. Others arrive for lunch and end up spending the afternoon in the beer garden.
It’s relaxed, informal and open to everyone — golfers and non-golfers alike. Just good food, a bit of friendly competition and plenty of space to gather.
You’ll find HALWYN on the edge of Crantock village, around 10 minutes from Newquay town centre and just a few minutes from Crantock Beach. For sat nav, use postcode TR8 5DF.
From Newquay, follow the A3075 towards Crantock. As you enter the village, you’ll see signs for HALWYN; it’s on the right. There’s plenty of free on-site parking, with additional overflow parking available during busier periods and throughout the summer months.

PANS DOWN FOR THE WEEK – The kitchen is closed 16th – 23rd March
From Monday 16 March, our kitchen team will be taking a well-earned week off, so there will be no food service during this period.
We’re a small, hardworking team, and this short break gives everyone a chance to recharge before the busy Easter holidays begin.
The bar will remain open as usual, and we look forward to welcoming you back for food the following week.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
