Set in Crantock, just outside Newquay, HALWYN sits in idyllic countryside just a short walk to Crantock beach. You can book exclusive use of our restaurant and conservatory, and we also have private driving range facilities, perfect for groups. The driving range has countryside views and the mini golf course sunken and surrounded by railway sleepers and wildflowers. We can host up to 100 guests in the restaurant.
Our events are brimming with good vibes. From fundraisers for our local charities to collaborations with local farmers’ markets and golfing tournaments, there is always something happening at Halwyn.

We can host your wedding breakfast or reception at Halwyn. You’ll have exclusive use of our restaurant and garden and two driving range bays, because who doesn’t want to play golf on their wedding day? We can offer bespoke menus and will work with you to plan your perfect day.
We’ll raise a glass to that, from big birthdays with a celebration feast to a group of friends wanting burgers and some friendly competition on the driving range, we’ll help make your celebration memorable.
Away days in Cornwall don’t have to mean a beige hotel conference room. Challenge each other to nearest to the pin on the driving range or see who can get a hole-in-one at mini golf – it’s a great way to break the ice at events.
The restaurant has AV equipment including a large projector screen, and we can accommodate up to 100 guests depending on configuration. Whether it’s a full day out or an afternoon session with dinner, we’ll help build something that people actually look forward to.

We’re on Halwyn Road in Crantock, near Newquay, Cornwall TR8 5TR. We’re open year-round and have plenty of on-site parking.
Absolutely. HALWYN is a family-friendly venue and we’re happy to accommodate celebrations of all kinds. We have a children’s menu and the mini golf course is great for all ages.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout the site on a lead. We’ll have treats and a water bowl ready.
