The Jenkins of Trevowah

We’re inviting you to join us at Halwyn on 11th May 2026 at 7pm for an evening of storytelling with local historian Ben Dobson.
This time, Ben will be sharing an everyday story of country life, centred around the Jenkins family of Trevowah — a family marked by a string of extraordinary tragedies. From being struck by lightning to a fatal accident between ships at Par to lives lost at sea, their story is as dramatic as it is grounded in real life.
No tickets needed, free to attend, any donations will go to Crantock Surf Life Saving Club.
